I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They even surprised me with a fruit platter upon arrival and a welcome drink at the historical pub. The location was perfect, right across from a beautiful church and palace, giving me a true old town feel. It was also conveniently located near Dam Square, just a short walk from the central station and close to a big supermarket and all the major shopping centers.

The bathroom planning was a bit awkward with a small step to stub one's toe on, and the metal rods to hang towels were difficult to manage.

our stay at die port van cleve was absolutely amazing during our honeymoon in amsterdam. the historic facade, the delft art details in the room, and the helpfulness of the staff exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast was satisfying, with a fantastic coffee machine. The dining room had a beautiful 19th-century tile frieze. The staff were immediately helpful when one of us got injured. The hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and transportation. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a coffee and tea pot.
