I had a fantastic time at this hotel in a lovely village on a touristic island. The location was excellent, right in the center of the island, allowing easy access to all the attractions. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, with a small terrace to enjoy. I especially loved the friendly and helpful staff, who made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. the hotel provided free sauna access and bikes for hire at a reasonable price.

The staff at Hotel De Walvisvaarder were exceptional in accommodating our early check-in request. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth and comfortable stay. The room was spacious and nicely furnished, with a luxurious bathroom. The breakfast buffet offered a decent selection, and the coffee was excellent. We also enjoyed exploring the island on the bicycles provided by the hotel. I highly recommend Hotel De Walvisvaarder for a fantastic weekend getaway.

This hotel is a hidden gem in the center of the island, making it an ideal base for exploring all the villages and attractions. The staff are incredibly friendly and always available to help with anything you need. The rooms are cozy with a cute inbuilt bed and the attention to detail in the design is excellent. I particularly loved the delicious breakfast that was served every morning, with a variety of options to choose from.

Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.

Convenient location in the heart of Terschelling, allowing easy access to both sides of the island. Bus stop right outside for quick transportation to the ferry terminal. Cozy fireplace and friendly staff. Spacious room with outdoor seating area. Great breakfast selection.

Stayed over Easter and enjoyed the nearby restaurants and the bike ride in the forest. The hotel rental bike was a good deal and well-maintained, ideal for exploring the key attractions in the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always there to help. Loved the cozy room with a small terrace overlooking the garden - great for a lazy afternoon nap.

The selection of fruit was poor, and the bread rolls looked stale. The bathroom had a high mirror, and the hairdryer was lousy.
