The breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. the antique decor in the hotel was stunning and added a unique charm. the location was convenient, not too busy but still close to everything we wanted to see and do.

The room cleanliness was a major issue. the bed sheets were dirty upon arrival and it seemed like they hadn't been changed.

the hotel had an upscale and hip ambiance that I loved. the friendly woman at the front desk made check-in and check-out a breeze. the room was incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed and spacious layout. I particularly enjoyed the Nespresso machine and the heated tile in the shower area of the bathroom. the large windows in the duplex suite let in plenty of natural light during the day, and the blackout curtains ensured a peaceful night's sleep. the facilities in the room, like the Nespresso coffee machine and selection of toiletries, were a nice touch. the staff was accommodating and even stored our bags after we checked out for the day. the hotel's location was perfect, with plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants nearby. It was close enough to the main areas of the city but still offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

I had a fantastic experience at this beautiful boutique hotel, Mercier. the decor was simply stunning and added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. They even promptly contacted us when we accidentally left something in the room, making arrangements to return it to us. the rooms were clean and comfortable, although the toilet area was a bit dark. the location of the hotel was perfect, situated near the downtown area but away from the noisy and crowded streets. the garden was a lovely spot to relax, and the bar and restaurant area were absolutely magnificent. the on-site restaurant, 'One Huis,' served delicious food, and the bar offered a wide selection of drinks. the hotel truly enhanced our trip and we can't wait to visit again.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel which exceeded my expectations. its location was excellent, tucked away down a street off the main canal road in the heart of the Jordaan area. The neighborhood was perfect for meandering through the canals and visiting independent stores, yet close enough to walk to the touristy area if I wanted to. Secondly, the service was impeccable with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist with my room service, dry cleaning, or bicycle hire needs. Finally, the room amenities were superb, including an ironing facility, air conditioning, and electric kettle to name just a few.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, without any hesitation.

water pressure issue on first night

The location of the hotel is superb, situated in the Nine Canal area making it fantastically right off the Prinsengracht canal and central to all the key attractions in the city. The rooms are impeccable, with USB chargers near the bed, warm floors in the bathroom, and low cozy light in the toilet. The friendly staff and sleek interior make the stay even more enjoyable.

The bar and breakfast service could be improved with quicker service and a more enticing breakfast menu.

For the price we paid, we got great value with a spacious room and comfy bed. The hotel's location was ideal, close to all the attractions yet tucked away on a quiet street. The staff were friendly and even surprised us with birthday balloons and a voucher for free drinks.

The hotel dining room had great food with a varied dinner menu and an outstanding breakfast each morning. Clean and spacious rooms with free coffee in the hall. Had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend at a cozy and comfortable hotel. the staff were friendly and welcoming. the hotel offered two complementary treats that made us feel special. the location is perfect to explore the nearby shops and attractions. the room was very clean and well equipped. One of the best aspects was the lovely view from our window.

The hotel bar was closed during our stay which was a bummer. the room was somewhat small and did not have a fridge or bath, which made storing snacks or taking a relaxing soak in the evening impossible.

The value for our money at Mercier was unbeatable, with a comfortable room and excellent amenities. The location was perfect for exploring and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.
