Starting the new year at this hotel was a great decision! the architecture and interior design were stunning. the breakfast was definitely worth it and the staff was amazingly helpful. the location was perfect, we could walk to many local attractions and cafes. And let me tell you, the ceilings and lighting were breathtaking, it really added to the whole experience.

There was no remote control for the TV in our room but it didn't really bother us because we weren't there to watch TV. it would've been helpful to have some information about the wifi password in the room, but we managed to get it from reception.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, just off the main square in Haarlem, providing easy access to just about everything in the area. The service was impeccable, with friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, with amenities such as heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a sitting area. We also enjoyed the terrace and dining table, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a meal. The hotel provided a fantastic range of room service options, as well as a delicious welcome drink upon arrival.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The warm and comfortable atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were informal yet polite, making my experience pleasant. The hotel's location was superb, being close to the center of Haarlem, allowing easy access to everything in the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. The facilities were top-notch, providing a large bedroom with a spacious bed and a luxurious bathroom with a deep bathtub and separate shower. The hotel also had parking available and the staff provided excellent transportation options. The breakfast offered was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly.

This hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the area on foot. It is close to many nice dining places, so guests have plenty of options for meals. The room is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with jewel colors and heritage elements. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel also has a downstairs restaurant and cafe area, adding to the overall ambience. Guests can enjoy a quiet night's sleep in the spacious and well-insulated rooms.

Some minor functional issues can be encountered due to the renovation of the old building, but they are not significant enough to overshadow the overall splendor of the place.

the 16th-century building has been beautifully converted to provide modern comfort while maintaining its ancient beauty. the high ceilings and interesting decor added a quirky touch to the overall ambiance. the owner, Hans, was a joy to deal with and the assistant staff at breakfast were very attentive to our needs. the breakfasts were not only extremely tasty but also gave us the energy to keep going throughout the day. the experience was 10/10 and we would highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting the area.

We had a truly unique and charming experience at Maf Haarlem Boutique. The historic character of the building was evident in every corner, and the owners' renovation efforts were impressive. The large and comfortable room provided a great view of the street, and the bathroom was luxurious. The breakfast, although repetitive, was absolutely delicious and abundant. The location was perfect, right in the city center with plenty to do. We were especially impressed by the ability to unlock the doors with our cell phones. Despite a few minor inconveniences such as the stairs being a bit difficult to climb with heavy luggage and the hotel not being manned in the evenings, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to assist us. I highly recommend this hotel for its character, location, and exceptional service.
