The staff at Van Der Valk Hotel went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. When I mentioned that the temperature in my room was too warm, they quickly brought me a fan to keep me comfortable. The rooms were clean and tidy, and I appreciated the attentive service throughout my stay. The breakfast offered a great variety, including the rare treat of bacon and eggs. I would recommend this hotel for its value for money and friendly service.

Comfortable rooms with spacious bathrooms and jacuzzi tubs. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely restaurant and outside dining area. Great location in a quiet town outside of Leeuwarden. Nice walks in the surrounding neighborhoods.

The hotel had comfortable beds and clean rooms, which made resting at night very pleasant. it was great that there were a variety of English-speaking channels on the TV. the hotel was well-located and easy to find, with easy access to the main road. the breakfast offered was substantial and enjoyable.

There was a lot of noise that persisted through the night and into the morning, which made it difficult to sleep and have a relaxing weekend. Workers were carrying out repairs in the hallways and rooms, causing loud banging, sawing and hammering.

The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood, close to the railway station. You can easily explore the surrounding neighborhoods and enjoy pleasant walks. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with clean bathrooms. The staff provides friendly service and the breakfast is simple but good.

The strength of the wi-fi could be stronger.
