We stayed in a charming hotel surrounded by beautiful gardens, just a short drive from the city centre. Our room was lovely and comfortable, with a great view of the surrounding gardens. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay a pleasant experience. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and the food was delicious. a great place to base yourself for exploring the area.

That the terrace we had in our room did not offer much privacy. Keeping the blinds closed and the lights on was the only way to maintain privacy from people walking past.

The room was spacious and had a lovely garden view. The bed was large and comfortable. The hotel facilities were excellent, including the free wifi and the beautiful restaurant. The location was convenient, being close to the historical center.

The room in the water tower had a lovely view of the garden and was spacious and well-designed. The location was convenient, close to the historic center and easily reachable by bike, with locked bicycle parking provided. The staff were friendly and, though they seemed inexperienced, made up for it with their nice personalities.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved by offering a warm breakfast option half an hour earlier.

The gardens, room view and decor, breakfast, and staff professionalism were all fantastic. The building had a quirky and beautifully restored charm. The whole stay felt like a magical experience, reminiscent of Beatrix Potter and Lemony Snicket. The restaurant was also lovely and conveniently located near a concert venue.

The hotel is a perfect combination of a restaurant, shop and garden with breathtaking views and sensational service. the outdoor dining area with a rustic touch in the lush garden is a must-do experience. all the produce is fresh, and everything on the plate is a visual delight. Another plus is the reasonable prices for the food and drinks.

Vegetarian options were limited during dinner. However, the quality of food and presentation was still top notch.

The room amenities were excellent as well, with ironing facilities, a cozy sitting area, and a terrace where I could enjoy a cup of tea. The soundproofed rooms ensured a peaceful and quiet stay, and the garden furniture added a touch of elegance to the overall experience.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It truly exceeded my expectations and provided an unforgettable experience.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Augustus. the room had beautiful decoration and the hotel was surrounded by gorgeous gardens. the restaurant served amazing food. the location was perfect, with free parking nearby. I especially loved the unique and creative atmosphere of the hotel, as well as the easy bike rental option. I would highly recommend Villa Augustus, especially for young couples who appreciate boutique experiences.

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Augustus recently and I must say, the experience was fantastic. The restaurant, although not high end, offered fresh and delicious food with a focus on using ingredients grown in the gardens. The homemade bread was a standout and added to the excellent breakfast experience. Despite a few small drawbacks, like the initial room not being to my liking and the breakfast selection being a bit limited, the friendly and understanding staff quickly resolved these issues and even offered free breakfast as an apology. I highly recommend this stunning and restful hotel in Dordrecht for a unique and enjoyable stay.
