The hotel had amazing massive hard wooden furniture and a green garden. The beach was right in front of the hotel, making it convenient for guests. The room had a quiet ceiling fan and good mosquito meshes on doors and windows, which is great for those concerned about insects. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and they did not charge a 10% "voluntary tip" upfront. The two young managers did a good job organizing everything and even provided appropriate clothing for activities such as surf classes.
