We had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel in the heart of the city. The location couldn't be better, as it is just a stone's throw away from the main plaza. We found it incredibly convenient to be so close to everything.

The hotel's location, right next to the town's central square, was perfect for exploring the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the rooms were large and beautifully decorated. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and always greeted me with a smile. The breakfast offered a good selection of options and the service was friendly.

No hairdryers were available in the rooms and had to be requested. No refrigerators were provided in the rooms, which made it difficult to store medication that needed to be refrigerated.

The historic building has a lot of charm and character, making for a unique city break experience. the spacious room with comfortable beds and large bathroom were great. the location is convenient, close to the city center and yet quiet. to that, there is a nice pool right in the courtyard, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

The lighting in the room could be improved, as the bright fluorescent white lights were a bit harsh. the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, going from really hot to less hot within a minute.

I stayed at Casa Del Consulado for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The deluxe two queen beds room was spacious, with a huge bathroom. The courtyard pool caught the early day sun, creating a tranquil atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, both in the evening and morning. The price we paid was great value for money. The breakfast options were tasty, with the Nicaraguan breakfast being a favorite. The colonial-style mansion was well-preserved, beautifully decorated, and had a beautiful pool area to relax in. I highly recommend this hotel.
