Location right next to the Franciscan Church, perfect for Holy Week activities and walking to restaurants and nightlife options. Breakfast was tasty and buffet style. Staff was friendly, attentive, and worked hard to please us.

We had a fantastic stay in this colonial era hotel turned luxury venue. The location in the center of the city was perfect, right in the middle of the cathedral/museum zone, making it easy to explore the city's attractions. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with beautiful gardens and antique items that added a lot of history and charm to the place. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and we were particularly impressed by Nelson from the breakfast staff, who went out of his way to make our mornings enjoyable. Additionally, the hotel provided valet parking, ensuring a convenient and secure experience.

The staff were very friendly and the location of the hotel was great, in the heart of the city. the breakfast offered was delicious and had a nice variety of options. It was enjoyable to explore the interesting relics left over from the building's past as a convent.

The pool could have been cleaner, as there were quite a few leaves floating on the surface. Additionally, the food at the hotel's restaurant was not very good and the crockery was chipped, which was disappointing.

The garden is stunning, with fresh fruits growing and a peaceful pool to swim in at night. We also enjoyed the nice food served at the hotel. The WiFi was good, although there were some minor issues with it on our last morning. The TV had a couple of English-speaking channels, which was a nice bonus. we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience at Hotel El Convento.

There were a couple of drawbacks during our stay. The fitness centre was limited to just a cross-trainer and bike behind the pool.

Despite its central location, we didn't have any issues with noise during the night, thanks to the earplugs we brought along.
