I recently stayed at the Luna International in Esteli for a few days. The location was great, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby and easy access to taxis. The hostel had a comfortable, chill area with hammocks and rocking chairs. The staff were kind and knowledgeable about local attractions. The hostel also had a bar/restaurant across the street that offered reasonably priced food and drinks. I highly recommend their well-organized canyon trip, just remember to bring a rash vest for the cold.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, even though they only spoke a little English. The hotel had a great atmosphere, and we enjoyed meeting and socializing with other guests. The location was convenient, with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We also appreciated the hotel's assistance in organizing tours to nearby attractions. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a nice selection of options, including pancakes and traditional gallo pinto.

For us, it was ideal.

I recently stayed at Luna International for a week. The central courtyard was a nice place to relax with a kitchen and plenty of books. The location was convenient, with good bars and restaurants within walking distance. The hostel also offered a variety of trips and had helpful folders in reception. The hot shower was a plus as well.

I got amazing value for my money at Luna International. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect, just a few blocks away from the Cathedral. The staff treated me with great kindness and made my stay enjoyable.

The menu for breakfast could use some improvement, maybe adding some fresh juice or fruit to make it more satisfying.

Convenient central location. Easy access to tours and activities. Breakfast at the nearby cafe was tasty, though not very filling. the rooms were clean and the hot water was a pleasant surprise.

Noisy and dirty. Loud music from surrounding bars made it impossible to sleep without earplugs.

The location was super convenient, close to the main square and within walking distance to all the cool spots in town. We had a blast exploring the stunning Somoto Canyon and the beautiful Miraflor and Tisey Nature Reserves. Thanks to TreeHuggers tourism office for organizing these non-profit tours every day of the week. The hostel staff were flexible and organized, helping us with everything from bike tours to setting us up with a Spanish school. It was the perfect adventure for us young, party-going people!

The only thing we wished for was a more happening party atmosphere in the hostel. It would have been even more fun if there were some cool social events or activities organized specifically for young travelers like us.

The noise level at the hotel was high, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully. The price of the rooms was quite high compared to other options in the area.
