We stayed at Mansion De Chocolate for two nights during our trip to Nicaragua. The rooms upstairs were beautiful and offered stunning views of the rooftops and Volcan Mombacho. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, providing great recommendations for tours and answering our questions about the area. The location was perfect, making it easy for us to explore the city on foot and feel safe at all times. This hotel truly stands out with its unique courtyard, rich history, refreshing pool, amazing chocolate, exceptional service. It made our stay in Granada a memorable and enjoyable experience. The Mansion De Chocolate in Granada is a truly unique and special place. The historic old building has multiple courtyards, a beautiful swimming pool, and huge rooms. The staff is friendly and accommodating, treating guests like family. The breakfast each morning is delicious, and the cafe/chocolate museum staff are helpful and personable. The location is great, with plenty of funky sitting areas and lots of amazing art on the walls. There are also workshops and activities, such as tours, massages, and the chocolate spa, which provide a wonderful experience for guests.

During my Christmas visit to the hotel, I enjoyed the delicious breakfast options and the stunning public spaces. the hotel's location was also a key highlight, as it was easy to walk to nearby parks and restaurants. the pool was a great spot to relax and cool off from the Nicaraguan heat.

The bathroom in my room was not functional and had low water pressure. some rooms appeared to have mold and musty smells, which could be a potential health hazard for guests.

During my recent stay, I was delighted by the spaciousness and vibrant atmosphere of the hotel. The different seating areas provided a buzzing ambiance, especially with people participating in Spanish lessons. The room I booked was clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of hot water in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet offered a plentiful selection, and I particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked eggs and pancakes. The staff were friendly, genuine, and always ready to assist. Additionally, the hotel offered airport pickups, which made our arrival convenient. The back and shoulder massage, available at a discounted price for guests, was professionally done and thoroughly enjoyable. The swimming pool, complete with its resident pet ducks, provided a refreshing retreat. I would recommend this hotel as a great introduction to Nicaragua.

Beautiful property with colonial charm. Great location near restaurants and shops. Friendly staff and amazing views of city and volcano. Delicious breakfast included. Loved the chocolate museum and cute animals on site.

We had a lovely romantic escape at a hotel in Granada. the hotel was centrally located, making it easy for us to explore the city and its attractions. the staff was friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We also loved the fact that the hotel had a beautiful sun deck with a swimming pool, where we could relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, the hotel provided different spa treatments that we took advantage of, adding an extra touch of luxury to our getaway.

On the downside, we found that the room doors were a bit loose, which caused them to bang against the door frames when it was windy. This noise was quite disruptive, but we managed to minimize it by placing something against the doors.
