The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, with the mountains and the lake creating a stunning backdrop. The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch, and the breakfast that was delivered to our room was simply delicious. The location of the hotel is also perfect, just a short drive away from the start of the scenic route Gamle Strynefjellsveg and Geiranger. We felt so welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff who always had a smile on their faces. We could have easily stayed for another week to explore the area.

The hotel is located in a picturesque setting, next to an incredibly beautiful glacial lake surrounded by mountains. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and kind throughout my stay. Breakfast was amazing, with a personal selection of meats, cheeses, eggs, and jam.

We stayed at Djupvasshytta for two nights on our road trip. The location next to the lake is absolutely enchanting, like something out of a fairy tale. The staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel like part of their family. They even helped us get a good deal on a car rental. Our room had a spacious and beautiful lake view, and the meals prepared with care and love were delicious. The lack of wifi and cell phone signal allowed us to fully enjoy the peaceful and natural surroundings.

We recently stayed at this amazing bed & breakfast and it was truly exceptional. Djupvasshytta is perfectly situated by a picturesque glacial lake, offering breathtaking views from our room. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel truly spoiled throughout our stay. The highlight was the delicious three-course dinner, which was not only incredibly tasty but also great value for money. The breakfast spread was also delightful, with a variety of Norwegian delicacies and some delicious heart-shaped waffles. We can't wait to return to this outstanding hotel!

Jaw-dropping lake views, modern and beautifully decorated rooms with big windows, super breakfast, friendly and caring staff, GREAT location.

Upon arrival, our room was a bit chilly, but the helpful staff quickly provided us with an oil heater to warm it up. The mattresses were a bit thin and shifted underneath us, but the spacious room with a fantastic lake view made up for it. The included breakfast was amazing, offering a lovely view over the lake. We particularly appreciated the young, female staff member who was always ready to provide us with hot water for drinks each night. Despite arriving later than the check-in time, she warmly welcomed us. The location of the hotel is perfect for those who have a car, allowing easy access to explore the beautiful fjords.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the friendly and informative staff who always had a welcoming smile on their faces. The breakfast, although not served buffet-style, offered a delicious and plentiful selection of food. The restaurant provided a beautiful view of the lake and snowy mountain edge. The location was perfect for visiting Geiranger as it was more affordable compared to the hotels in the city. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the Dalsnibba viewpoint allowed us to enjoy stunning snowy mountain views at an elevation of 1500m above sea level.
