The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a great variety of options. it was a pleasant experience.

Very affordable for Oslo. Basic room with great shower and hot water. Good breakfast selection. Tram right outside. Difficult to find, use Google maps.

I recently stayed at Gaustad for a few nights. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff who speak excellent English. The buffet breakfast was lovely and they even have a small shop downstairs for snacks and drinks. The location is convenient, with public transport right outside the door. Plus, the price was very reasonable compared to other options in the city.

Spent my Christmas break in a hotel located in the outskirts of the city of Oslo. the hotel was quite affordable compared to those downtown. the tram that runs right by the hotel was very convenient, and it only took me about 15-20 minutes to reach the city center. the view from my room was breathtaking, with a natural park just in front. the heated floors in the bathroom were a fantastic addition, especially during the colder months.

That there wasn't much to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so for entertainment or other activities, I had to make my way to the center. the dining room had a limited menu, so it was challenging to find a variety of dishes to try out.

This hotel offers great value for money. It is conveniently located right next to the Rikshospitalet-Tram stop, making it easy to travel around the city. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with a TV and fridge. The beds are super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast included in the price is suitable for vegetarians, offering a good variety of options.

All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory and there is nothing that needs improvement.

Additionally, the hotel provided free drinking water tetra packs due to a temporary issue with the water connection in the rooms. I had a very good experience and would highly recommend Gaustad as an affordable option for accommodation in Oslo.
