The room was clean and had a fresh, modern feel to it. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist. The breakfast included in the stay was simple but delicious, and the option to use the common kitchen was a nice touch. The location of the guesthouse at the end of town provided stunning views of the mountains, making the walk to town even more enjoyable.

We had a great stay at the hostel, Gjestehuset 102. the twin room we stayed in was spacious and the hostel overall was well-organized. the common areas were a nice bonus, and we enjoyed the variety of sweet and savory options for breakfast. the staff were kind and knowledgeable, always willing to recommend the best tour companies and book activities for us. the location was perfect, situated in a quiet spot just a 20-minute walk from the town center. This allowed us to enjoy the beautiful scenery while getting some exercise. Plus, being away from the light pollution made it easier to spot the northern lights. the room had a window with amazing views, and to top it off, the staff even gave us ref magnets as a birthday gift. gjestehuset 102 was the perfect base for my cycling adventure in longyearbyen. the spacious and clean rooms, along with the delicious breakfast, exceeded my expectations. the location was ideal, with hiking trails and glaciers right nearby. a truly memorable experience.
