The location was absolutely jaw-dropping with its close proximity to the breathtaking glacier. The room, made of warm wooden materials, provided a clean, comfortable, and cosy atmosphere. The view from the room overlooking the beautiful countryside was simply mind-blowing. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide range of options, while the dinner portions were huge and delicious. Be sure to try the tempting and cheap desserts! The owner, Laila, was incredibly welcoming and provided useful explanations about dinner. A truly satisfying and memorable stay!

This family-run hotel is located in a wonderful area, near to Nigardsbreen glacier and surrounded by stunning mountains. The rooms are clean and have an enticing look to them. The friendly staff provide exceptional service, going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The breakfast spread is simple but very nice, and the homemade bread and jams are a highlight. The convenient location allows for easy exploration of the nearby national park.

The apartment can use an upgrade in terms of its kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Booked amazing glacier hiking tour, rafting and kayaking. Free Wi-Fi to post all my impressive pictures. Ate delicious Norwegian cuisine. I even got to play volleyball on their court while enjoying the terrace view. And free luggage storage, how thoughtful!

It was such a disappointment to not have a personal elevator to carry my bags, oh wait, I forgot I chose an active holiday! Silly me.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Clean rooms with daily towel refill and embedded bathrooms made my stay comfortable. The breakfast spread included a variety of proteins and fruits, and everything was well made and delicious. The location was exceptional, with awesome views of the nearby glacier, waterfalls, and lush green meadows. The staff, especially the owner, was lovely and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel nestled in a gorgeous valley, just a stone's throw away from white water rafting and the stunning Nigardsbreen glacier. The owner, Leila, was incredibly sweet and made sure the place was clean and tidy. The daily special for dinner was incredibly tasty and well worth it. Plus, the locally sourced food added a delightful touch to the meals.

While the rooms were simple, the location and Leila's excellent service made up for it. It's worth noting that breakfast isn't included in the price, but the family apartment was perfect for cooking meals.

our stay at jostedal was even better than before. the spacious apartment had a great kitchen and comfy bedrooms with plenty of closet space. being on the ground floor was perfect for easy access. the anniversary meal in their restaurant with a mountain and waterfall view was truly memorable. amazing location for the hike to nigersbreen glacier. the helpful staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

As a family, we stayed at this hotel for two nights while exploring the stunning beauty of the nearby National Park. The family room had a comfortable layout and a lovely balcony to enjoy the scenic views. The dinner options were delicious, offering a variety of local and Western dishes. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service, even accommodating a vegan meal for our daughter. the warm hospitality, tasty food, and convenient location made our stay at this hotel a delightful experience.
