Spent my Christmas surrounded by nature and the fresh air of the mountains at this hotel. the room was spacious, clean and had a fascinating selection of art on the walls. the breakfast offered a variety of egg dishes, fresh bread, and pure butter. the staff was welcoming and friendly, and they offer amenities such as a sauna, gym, and swimming pool.

The hotel was a bit out of the way and hard to reach, as it required a long walk up a hill from the nearest tram station. the hotel restaurant was quite expensive, and there were no other nearby options for dining.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of authentic Norwegian dishes to choose from. The homemade pâté blew my mind!

Feels like a fairytale castle with art center vibes. The wine selection is so carefully chosen, it's like the chef and the sommelier read each other's minds. The premises and staff make it the perfect spot for any special occasion. Bonus: fresh veggies from their garden!

Who needs a fitness room anyways?

This hotel provides an exceptional top-notch service that meets the luxurious needs of its guests. the private facilities and exclusive amenities were fully satisfactory, especially the spa and wellness center, indoor swimming pool, and massage services. the restaurant offers delicious continental breakfast and special diet menus, which were served with attention to detail in the bar/lounge area. the sun terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view and heated swimming pool were comfortable and relaxing for an evening spent enjoying the garden's serene surroundings and shallow end.

The only minor issue noticed matched the lack of information provided, mainly about the location advantages and sightseeing opportunities around the hotel. While the friendly staff was willing to assist guests with any concerns, a brochure or guidebook shared upon arrival could have been advantageous.

Additionally, the hotel is conveniently situated near the nearest metro station, making it easy to access all the major attractions in the city.

I had an amazing stay at Lysebu! the hotel was cozy with friendly staff. the facilities, including the pool, fitness center, and sauna, were clean and well-maintained. the heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch. the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. the location itself was beautiful, with opportunities for hiking in the area. I look forward to returning to this winter wonderland.
