We had a truly unique experience staying at this rustic hotel. The rooms were individually designed and had a charming, historic feel to them. We loved the fact that some of the rooms had canopy beds, which added to the overall ambiance. The location of the hotel was also a plus, with stunning mountain views right on its doorstep. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and taking in the beautiful scenery. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond, carrying our heavy luggage effortlessly to the third floor upon check-in.

There were a few aspects that we didn't particularly enjoy. Firstly, the breakfast was not up to our expectations, with pre-sliced bread that tasted like supermarket bread.

We got great value for our money and had a fantastic room with a unique wooden tub. The location was beautiful and the staff was really friendly and helpful.

Breakfast delights were lacking as the bread tasted like store-bought instead of the delicious local bakery bread we were expecting. Additionally, it to have to pay for coffee during the day as a guest of the hotel, when it used to be complimentary along with some cake or sweets.

The highlight of our stay at Roisheim Hotel & Skysstasjon was definitely the unique experience of staying in a Norwegian farm building from the 1700s. The rustic and comfortable room on the top floor of the Aurbua building had a large barrel bathtub and was filled with lovely antiques. We loved the two windows that allowed plenty of light into the room. The main building, with its beautiful antique furnishings, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The four-course dinner we opted for was delicious, although a bit pricey. we enjoyed the charm and historical ambiance of this old lodge.

Additionally, the breakfast and dinner provided at the hotel were absolutely delicious, and definitely a highlight of my stay.

There were a few things that I disliked about my stay. First, the bathroom facilities were located outside the room, which was inconvenient, especially during the chilly winter nights.
