I recently stayed at Scandic in Alesund for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The seaview from the room was absolutely beautiful and added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. Upon arrival, I was delighted to find birthday balloons and a card, a thoughtful surprise from the hotel staff. The daily evening hot soup served by the chef was delicious and the breakfast spread, including my favorite smoked salmon, was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, making dining options easily accessible.

I recently visited an hotel for a business trip and I must say the view from the restaurant was breathtaking! The breakfast was incredibly satisfying providing gluten free options, something that was key for my colleague who has gluten allergy. The hotel was also conveniently located just a few minutes away from the city center, allowing us to explore the area after work.

Sadly, the state of some of the rooms were not up to standard. I found candies and snacks on the floor and the furniture was worn and unclean.

The breakfast buffet at Scandic was fantastic, with a great variety of food and drinks. I especially loved the big pot of delicious hot soup waiting for guests in the hall. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay a pleasure. I highly recommend this hotel.

We loved waking up to the beautiful views of the water from our room's large windows. The breakfast room also had large windows, which made for a delightful start to our day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. They had great local knowledge and were always ready to offer recommendations. In addition, the room was clean and comfortable, providing us with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay.
