Oh, just the fact that the rooms were hotter than a sauna and had no air conditioning. Who needs a comfortable temperature when you can sweat all night?

The breakfast at Scandic was absolutely incredible. There was a wide variety of delicious Norwegian delicacies and plenty of options to satisfy all tastes. The hotel's location, just a short walk from the National Theatre tube stop, was perfect for exploring all the major sights in Oslo. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially with accommodating our large group. The family room we stayed in was ingeniously designed to comfortably fit all of us, including a double bed, bunk beds, a sofa bed, and a cot. The hotel even provided a lovely welcome pack for the kids. I had a fantastic experience at Scandic and would highly recommend it.

There were some minor issues with the room, such as the air conditioner being positioned over the bed, resulting in dried air hitting your head while sleeping. It would be more comfortable if the bed could be relocated to avoid this.

scandic did it again, exceeding my expectations during this visit to oslo. perfect location, friendly staff, and a cozy room that was kept tidy. breakfast had a great variety, although the hot food could have been hotter.
