We had a fantastic stay at Scandic in Svolvaer! The harbor front location was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful views and watch the boat activity. The room, although not large, was very comfortable and had a private porch, which would have been great in good weather. The bathroom was impressive, and we loved the shower. The breakfast was extensive and delicious, and we even had the chance to enjoy coffee and scrumptious cakes on Saturday. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. a great experience! I would recommend this hotel for its great location and comfortable rooms.

The hotel's location by the town's harbor front boardwalk provided easy access to some nice waterfront restaurants. We were able to stroll along the boardwalk and find a variety of dining options just a short walk away. the hotel was only a few minutes walk from where we got off the ferry from Bodo, making it convenient for travelers arriving by boat.

The hallway carpets were worn and dirty, giving the hotel a tired and neglected appearance.

As older guests, we loved the perfect location on the waterfront, offering a beautiful room with sea view and a small wooden balcony. The hotel provided all the comforts we needed, including a lovely panoramic dining area that overlooked the inner harbor. The staff, from cleaning to chefs, were excellent, and the front desk staff were helpful and obliging. The breakfast was a standout, with a huge variety of delicious options. the location and amenities of the hotel made for a great first encounter with Lofoten.

During my Thanksgiving stay, breakfast was diverse with local treats offered, and there was a huge selection of teas available. the panoramic view from the dining room was amazing and added to the dining experience. it was easy to get around as the hotel is conveniently situated close to public transport. Plus, the staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The paid parking space was a let-down, especially considering the price paid for the stay. it would have been helpful to have been informed in advance that the restaurant cannot serve alcohol due to restrictions.
