As backpackers, we loved the stunning panoramic view from our room and the massive terrace for dinner. The front desk worker was friendly, and the breakfast spread in the main lobby building was extensive. The cabin was cozy with warm rooms, comfortable beds, and great water pressure in the shower. It was also conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the town center.

Spending Christmas in this charming and cozy hotel was a memorable experience. the complimentary hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies served in the lobby added a festive touch, and the complimentary sauna and hot tub provided a relaxing escape from the chilly weather. the hotel’s location right by the harbor allowed for picturesque views of the fishing boats and stunning mountain backdrop. the convenience of having a grocery store a short walk away was also a plus, allowing for easy meal preparation in the fully equipped kitchen provided in the cabin.

Although the cabin was quaint and rustic, it lacked sufficient space for my family's belongings and the lighting made it difficult to navigate around at night. we found that the Wi-Fi was slow and spotty.

I had the most beautiful apartment with an incredible view at Svinoya Rorbuer. The staff upgraded us to a perfect 2-bedroom apartment with a magical view of the ocean. The living room window felt like we were in the water, with wild waves crashing against the rocks on rainy days. The bedroom had the same breathtaking view, and the balcony offered a chance to spot the northern lights. The fully equipped kitchen and convenient Google Chrome TV added to the overall comfort. Despite some poor weather, the vibrant community with local artists' studios and live music made up for it. The surrounding landscapes were truly breathtaking, with mountains and the working fishing industry adding to the unique atmosphere. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful in arranging all the excursions I wanted to do. The NYE dinner at their restaurant was memorable, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. I highly recommend this hotel for a true Norwegian experience.

Got a free upgrade to a stunning waterfront apartment with breathtaking views. The cabin felt like a majestic fairytale palace, complete with modern amenities and cozy ambiance. Caught cod from the deck and parked my car right in front. A 15-minute walk to town was worth it.
