Charming historic vibes with spacious rooms and exceptional breakfast! The in-house restaurant served surprising fine dining, with the delightful dinner being the highlight of our trip. Friendly staff made us feel at home, although road noise and steps to the entrance were minor distractions. A cozy gem worth revisiting!

Noise from the nearby road can be quite bothersome!!! Paper-thin walls allow you to hear everything from neighboring rooms!!! The lack of air conditioning might leave some guests feeling a bit uncomfortable during warmer months!!!

Ope, that breakfast was somethin’ else! Fresh, homemade bread with a side of smokey salmon really hit the spot. The owners are super friendly, and our room was cozy, even if it didn't have a kettle. Just a heads-up, ya gotta climb some stairs, but it’s worth it for the charm!

my stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations during my summer holiday. the cozy room had a lovely balcony overlooking the water, and the breakfast offerings were fantastic. the warm and welcoming atmosphere made my experience truly memorable, and the staff went above and beyond.

Had an awesome group vacation here! We loved the homemade breakfast and the cozy family room was perfect for our crew. We checked out some nearby cycling routes and went fishing as well. The hosts were super friendly and made sure we felt at home. Just a heads-up, there are some stairs to the entrance, so pack accordingly!

During my stay, I had the chance to dine at the in-house restaurant. The food was a surprise. I enjoyed an amazing cauliflower soup and tender lamb. The dessert, veiled farmers daughters, accompanied by rhubarb sorbet, stood out as a highlight. I appreciate authentic experiences like this, and as an American, I found the warmth of the staff added to the charm. Everything was well done, making the experience memorable.

Just a solid selection for a break on a long journey in Stryn with good value. The breakfast menu was pleasant and had fresh options to choose from, which was nice. Make sure to check if your room has all the amenities, as some are not where you might expect them.

What a grand spot! The staff were lovely, real sound folks, and the dinner was the best we had on our whole trip! Just a pity the view from our balcony was across a yard of trucks, not down the fjord like I’d hoped.
