I loved the thoughtful details like the heat pump and well-insulated walls, ensuring a comfortable and quiet night's sleep. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town with a great view of the street art mural. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great local recommendations. Plus, the homemade shortbread in the room was a delightful touch. Despite the lack of dedicated parking, the council carpark next door was convenient and affordable. I highly recommend this hotel for its welcoming atmosphere, excellent amenities, and prime location.

The room was very cold when we arrived for our Christmas stay, and the stairs were a surprise as we were not told about them. the room had a view of walls and other people's windows which made it feel like we were in a box.

Some rooms had a view of the town car park, which may not be to everyone's liking.

Although everything at this hotel was perfect, the only minor downside was the thin walls in some of the rooms that made noise travel easily. Nevertheless, the staff took the necessary steps to ensure a peaceful stay.
