I had a very nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious with a nice big bathroom and a comfortable bed. The attention to detail was evident, with daily room service ensuring cleanliness throughout my stay. The staff, especially the women running the place, were amazingly nice and always readily available to assist with any needs. The price was also great, offering excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable and affordable stay.

The only slight drawback was that the hotel is located fairly close to a busy road, so occasionally you could hear traffic passing by. However, this was not a major issue and did not significantly affect my overall experience.

I recently stayed at a motel that was conveniently located close to the city center, making it very handy to explore the area. The room was well presented and comfortable, with a variety of pillow types to choose from. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower with hot water and good water pressure. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable.

I did experience some road noise during my stay, which was a minor inconvenience.

Large room with plenty of space for the family. Kitchen was well equipped and room had both a couch and a breakfast table. Large bathroom and 2 x TVs. Host was very friendly and gracious and provided great dinner recommendations. We also enjoyed the convenience of having free parking available.

The location was just ok. we were able to easily walk to one good restaurant and to an excellent carryout Thai place, but it was not as close to the city center or parks as we would have liked.

This affordable lodge exceeded our expectations in every way, from the convenient location to the excellent motel quality. It's within walking distance to the CBD and has a bus stop and medical centres just across the road. The room was large and comfortable, with a recently renovated kitchen and bathroom. The shower had a strong flow of hot water and the owner provided exceptional service. We were impressed with the cleanliness and attention to detail, and the amenities were top-notch. It's the perfect place to base yourself while exploring this beautiful area of New Zealand.

We did notice some noise from the street, but it wasn't a major issue as we were already awake.

I stayed at this lovely motel for three nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was immaculate and had a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed to prepare a decent meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the guest laundry facility could be used for free. The bathroom looked brand new and had a super shower. it was excellent value for money.

I had such a great stay at Abbey Motor Lodge! The location was easy to find, and the after-hours check-in was super helpful. The parking was excellent, and I really appreciated that.
