The lodge had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay and was within walking distance to the beach and local cafe. The rooms opened out onto a private garden area, creating a serene setting. The hosts were friendly and provided great tips and advice for exploring the area.

All was perfect.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The room we stayed in was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the surrounding fields and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel also had great amenities such as a spa pool and a laundry room, which came in handy after a day of exploring the city. We also loved the fact that there were plenty of dining options within a short distance from the hotel.

We wish we had stayed longer at this hotel as it was such a wonderful experience. The only downside was that the nearby shop was quite small, so we would recommend stocking up on groceries before arriving if you plan on cooking your own meals.

We stayed in a private chalet at Abel Tasman Lodge and it was absolutely wonderful. The chalet was beautifully decorated and incredibly cozy. We loved having all the amenities we needed, like a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry. The outdoor hot tub was a highlight after a long day of exploring. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful, making us feel right at home. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back!

This lodge is a hidden gem in a convenient location, just a short walk from the park entrance and right next to the taxi boat. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchenette. The outside patio is a great place to enjoy the delicious breakfasts that are served. the hot tub and sauna are perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking or kayaking.

One aspect that could be improved is the lack of warning about sandflies in the area. Guests should be advised to bring repellent to avoid getting bitten.
