We recently stayed at Quality Inn in Taupo for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, close to the lakefront and within walking distance of the central shops, bars, and cafes. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the warm unit on chilly nights. The breakfast, delivered right to our room, was delicious and they accommodated our request for a yogurt flavor other than strawberry. a great stay!

Quality Inn exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and value for money. the breakfast was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. I particularly appreciated the cozy robes and slippers provided, as well as the modern lock that made me feel safe. the location was perfect, close enough to Taupo central but without the noise. a fantastic stay and I would definitely choose Quality Inn again.

The hotel was in an excellent location, situated near the lake and a great affordable restaurant that was just around the corner. It was also not far from the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities such as air conditioning and television. The staff was friendly, and the housekeeping was excellent.

The walls were a bit thin, making it easy to hear the guests in the next room.

Drawbacks: However, the availability of free WiFi was misleading as it was not accessible. We were disappointed by this since we needed it during our stay.

Great breakfast, convenient to everything. Helpful staff, suggestions provided. Comfortable and quiet room with kitchenette, gardens, laundry. Free secure wifi. Very comfortable stop, clean facilities, great value, walking distance to CBD and lake. Perfect parking. Separate guest laundry used.

Free cookies and the whirlpool were nice perks. Short drive to shops and eateries and easily accessible parking spot.

Room was not soundproof so we were bothered by loud neighbors and were unable to get help from staff due to the after hours number not being answered.
