The location of the hotel is fantastic, right on the bay within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hosts/reception were friendly and accommodating, even providing a discount for the restaurant/hotel across the road. Additionally, the unit was well-equipped with plenty of heating and was very clean.

The decor of the unit I stayed in was outdated and a bit creepy with its leopard and safari theme everywhere.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely inn in Akaroa. The location was perfect, right at Main Wharf with beautiful views of the bay. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing us to cook our own meals. Despite being close to the wharf, it was surprisingly quiet at night. We also enjoyed watching the preparations for incoming cruise passengers while sipping our cup of tea. The Akaroa Shuttle to Christchurch conveniently picked up right outside. we highly recommend this inn for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Akaroa.

Welcoming staff, excellent waterfront apartment, spotlessly clean with all necessary amenities. Centrally located with good parking. Comfy bed and pillows, easy check-in/check-out process, and a luxurious spa bath. New and clean decor, felt homely and comfortable.

As young families, we loved the well-decorated apartment with a great ocean view. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach, wharf, and restaurants. The apartment had three bedrooms, perfect for our family size. The electric mattress pads provided ultimate comfort, and the heating system worked very well. We also enjoyed the separate balconies for each bedroom and the lounge, providing extra space to relax and enjoy the view. the Akaroa Village Inn delivered everything we needed for a short stay.

We felt more than at home, no complaints at all.

Over Easter we enjoyed a great experience at our accommodation. the check-in process was quick, and the staff were very welcoming. We were even offered complimentary chocolates upon arrival! the location was prime, in close proximity to shops and restaurants, and just a short walk to the beach. the room was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities included. the views from the balcony were spectacular.

The bathroom was quite small and lacked proper ventilation, resulting in some mildew on the tiles. the pillows were a bit too flat for our liking.

We loved this place as it was in the centre of the village and close to restaurants, shops and the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room amenities were great and included heating, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and an outdoor dining area. The leisure facilities such as the swimming pool and beach access were amazing. It was great to have free parking and a business centre. We also liked the garden area and free toiletries provided. The view of the bay was stunning and we enjoyed exploring all the little bays.

Highly recommended for families looking to stay in a great place with amazing walks and scenery.

our recent stay in akaroa was made exceptional by the Village Inn. the apartment was beautifully decorated and super clean. the staff was helpful and the amenities, like the electric mattress pads and heat pump, were top-notch.
