Alma Motel provided a convenient and quiet location, perfect for a restful break before continuing our journey. The clean and comfortable rooms were equipped with all necessary amenities, including heaters for warmth. The spacious layout offered separate rooms for families, ensuring everyone's comfort. The under cover car parking space was a bonus. The friendly and chatty manager added a personal touch to our stay.

The lack of soundproofing between units made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere.

I stayed at Alma Motel for one night during my recent trip to Oamaru. The unit was great and had a full kitchen for my use. It was impressively clean and surprisingly quiet despite being next to the main road. The owner was very friendly and offered me choices of milk for my morning coffee before I even asked. The check-in process was easy and the signage made it easy to find reception. I would definitely recommend Alma Motel to friends and family.

My stay at Alma Motel was truly delightful. Kerry, the amazing man who runs the place, made me feel so welcome with his peaceful presence and honorable hospitality. The rooms were well-equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The beautiful lawn provided lots of space for me to walk my pet dog. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making my stay a true pleasure. I also appreciated the helpful recommendations I received upon arrival for places to visit and things to do. Alma Motel provided a wonderful experience.

The noise from the main road can be disruptive, especially during the late hours of the night.
