We recently booked a stay at Alpin and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations. Our two children were thrilled with the tidy kitchenette, separate single beds, and the hot tub in the private courtyard. The outdoor pool was also a hit! The location was fantastic, just a short distance from Whakarewarewa and a quick drive to the city center. The bathroom was modern and very clean, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the small carton of milk and the bubbles for the hot tub. excellent value for money and a place we would happily return to.

The location of this hotel was perfect for me as it was within walking distance of the city centre and major attractions like the Whakarewarewa village and The Te Puia. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located near the Redwood forest which was easily accessible by bike. The hotel facilities were great, with each unit equipped with carports, two TVs, a hotplate, microwave. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had heaters, cross-ventilation, and plenty of plug points. The daily cleaning service and replacement of towels and toiletries were also a nice touch.

The location was perfect, close to the city centre yet quiet. The private hot tub and pool added to the experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The spacious rooms were great value for money.

I enjoyed my stay at this motel. The location was great, close to the center but very quiet. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I also loved the facilities, such as the hot tub and pool. The motel had a lovely garden area as well.

The shower could have been cleaner.

We loved having our own private mineral pool spa tub off the unit - such a luxury! The bed was large and comfy, with TVs in both the lounge and the bedroom. The unit also backed onto the main pool, which was very convenient.

Felt like a VIP, no reason to complain.

Plenty of pillows, comfy bed, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Hot tub was a nice touch. Great location near attractions.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely motel with great facilities. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day, and the toddler-friendly setup was a huge plus. The owners were attentive and made sure everything was comfortable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning. Overall I highly recommend this motel.

We loved this place! It was in a great location, close to the attractions we wanted to visit, like the Whakarewarewa Living Maori Village. The city centre was also nearby, making it convenient for exploring. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including ironing facilities and tea/coffee making amenities. The balcony provided a nice place to relax, and we appreciated the free toiletries provided. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also enjoyed the leisure swimming pool and the free Wi-Fi.

The hotel offered free parking and free breakfast, which is always a plus. the location was great, just a short walk away from the main tourist attractions and restaurants. Not to mention, the view from our room was absolutely stunning.

Our stay was ruined by the lack of cleanliness in the hotel room. The sheets looked like they had not been changed after the previous guests, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned.
