The location of this hotel is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the blue bay in the Malbourough Sounds. It is situated right next to the beach, providing easy access to water activities. The rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are nice, and the service is accommodating. Guests can also enjoy the use of free kayaks and bikes to explore the beautiful area.

Some guests mentioned that the rooms were small, but this did not take away from the overall experience.

Spent Easter at a cozy lodge on the waterfront with access to the Queen Charlotte Track. the helpful hosts provided all the equipment we needed to go kayaking and biking in the area. Perfect location with stunning views and outdoor facilities.

The bed was a bit too small for two people and not the most comfortable. the breakfast was a little overpriced for the options provided.

The hotel at Anakiwa 401 exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was exceptional - a beautiful place to stay at a really reasonable price. Secondly, the attention to detail was evident throughout the property, from the clean and comfortable rooms with their great views, to the attractive and homely common areas. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond to ensure a pleasurable stay. And lastly, the location was simply breathtaking. Situated in front of a stunning blue bay in the Marlborough Sounds, it was the perfect base for exploring the area.

We had a fabulous stay at this amazing seaview apartment. the hosts, Shayne and Tanya, were engaging and informative, making us feel truly welcome. the accommodation was comfortable and immaculate, with a well-stocked kitchen and a comfy bed. the location was stunning, with a beautiful view of the Marlborough Sounds. We enjoyed the free kayaks and bikes, using them to explore the area and even paddle to the next bay. Jumping off the jetty was a fun activity we did every day, and we loved seeing the glow worms along the Queen Charlotte Track. it was a fantastic and memorable experience.

I got great value for my money at 401. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the beautiful bay and Queen Charlotte Track. The staff were friendly and provided excellent information.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety.
