I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff, particularly Erin, were incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start. The room was clean and tidy, perfect for my family of four. We were located just steps away from the pool, which had a hot tub, heated pools for both kids and adults, and beautiful views of the lake. The hotel also provided pool towels and offered bike rentals for a small fee. The location was great, with easy access to walking and cycling paths along the river. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a fully equipped kitchen and strong WiFi. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location for walks along the river, and helpful staff made this a perfect stay.

We had a fantastic time at this resort in Taupo. The owners were incredibly welcoming and gave us plenty of helpful information about the area. They even surprised us with a free room upgrade for our three-night stay, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with amazing views of the lake. We loved the spa bath and the convenient access to gas barbeques. The well-equipped kitchen in the room was a bonus. The location was also great, just a short drive from the town center. The best part was being able to use the gym in the town center for free. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend this resort.

We loved our stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, right opposite the lake with stunning views. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond with their customer service, making us feel welcome and ensuring all our needs were met. The facilities were top-notch, from the swimming pool and hot tub to the sauna and wellness center. We also appreciated the free airport shuttle and the convenience of having a fitness center on-site. this place exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning.

Spent Christmas at this hotel with the family. the rooms were spacious and comfortable with great views of the lake. the location was perfect, walking distance to a beautiful lake and bike rental. We enjoyed taking a bike ride around the lake. the staff were friendly and informative.

The pillows were too thick, couldn't get comfortable and gave me a sore neck. the parking space was narrow and difficult to maneuver in.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and comfortable at Anchorage Resort. The friendly staff provided helpful local recommendations and tourist information.
