Just had the best stay at a hotel with a quiet location, lovely grounds, and an amazing breakfast range. Staff were super friendly. LOVED the warm room. Would definitely choose it again! the place looks even better in person!

the meals at ascot park were delightful, both for the children and us adults. the staff, like liam and ocheana, were friendly and helpful. the free shuttle service to the city was a wonderful surprise. the decor, though older, had a charming kiwiana vibe. the convenience of the car park right outside and easy access to all facilities made our stay relaxing. overall, impeccable cleanliness and impressive food quality made our experience enjoyable. we'll surely return for more.

The room was some distance from the hotel, requiring us to drive to reception. This made it feel like a "poor man's" area and took away from the overall luxurious vibe of the hotel.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, as it is situated quite close to the highway, making it easy to access. Additionally, it is still close to the town centre, which is great for exploring the area. The hotel is right beside a major roundabout, providing easy navigation for guests.

One negative aspect of the hotel is that there is a shared ashtray at the external entrance to some of the rooms. This may be inconvenient for non-smoking guests or those who are sensitive to smoke.
