The Alfresco Motor Lodge in Gisborne offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay - from a cozy bed and a nice tub to a clean room and a convenient location. The staff was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful, and the unbeatable price was an added bonus. The unit itself was beautifully presented with quality fittings and bedding, and the hot water supply in the shower was fabulous. The location was perfect, with no traffic noise and close proximity to the airport without planes flying overhead. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog, with doggy bags and a designated walkway provided. The free laundry facilities were a great added convenience. Definitely great value for money at the Alfresco Motor Lodge.

We were pleasantly surprised by the luxurious and comfortable room at this place. It was incredibly clean and spacious, with quality fittings and bedding. The hot water supply in the shower was fantastic, providing a satisfying and refreshing experience. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything without any annoying traffic noise. Additionally, the staff were great and provided excellent service, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We highly recommend this venue to others.

This budget motel is conveniently located near the central downtown area, with plenty of eating places nearby. It's also close to the shops in one direction and the beach in another, perfect for exploring. The rooms were spacious, extremely clean, and well equipped. The bathroom was fantastic and the beds were comfortable. The owners were helpful and welcoming, providing great service. The breakfast delivered to the room each morning was reasonably priced and delicious. a great place to stay with all the necessary facilities and close proximity to attractions.

The check-in process lacked friendliness and enthusiasm, with the staff being a bit slack in greeting guests and making them feel welcome.

The room was pretty clean, and we had everything we needed, including a small kitchen. the bed was comfortable enough, and the shower had good pressure. the location was alright, not too far from the city center, and there was a convenience store nearby. the staff was polite and helpful.

Unfortunately, that is the end of the good news. the noise level was unbearable, and we could hear everything from the other rooms and the outside.

We recently stayed at a motel in Gisborne and had a great experience. The location was fantastic, close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Our room was clean, tidy, and modern, with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning for a reasonable price. Parking was convenient, right outside our room. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with directions for our next destination. we highly recommend this motel for a pleasant stay.

Although we had a wonderful stay, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The shower head in our room kept dropping, which required us to repeatedly tighten it during our showers.
