I had driven past this motel many times before finally getting the chance to stay here. My partner and I booked a great deal and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. Despite a small inconvenience of no soap holder in the shower, everything else exceeded our expectations. The trampoline was a fun addition, and the room was made cozy with a heater. The grounds were well-maintained, and our ground floor unit was peaceful and spacious. The staff were friendly, and their lovely dog added a nice touch. The location was perfect for exploring Taranaki, and we enjoyed the comfortable bed and the bonus of having Sky TV. a wonderful experience that surpassed our expectations.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a heavenly night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. the rooms were also very spacious and clean, allowing plenty of room to relax and unwind. Additionally, the motel offered free and unlimited Wi-Fi, which was a great convenience for staying connected during our trip.

The water pressure in the shower was a major disappointment. It was extremely hard to turn on, and although it started off reasonably warm, it ran cold after just a few minutes.

The staff were friendly and easy going, making me feel welcome during my stay. The sheets in the room were unusually soft and comfortable, unlike the industrial ones found in many hotels. The hotel's pet-friendly policy was a plus, as long as the pets were well-behaved. They provided electrical blankets and a heater in the cupboard, which was handy.

We loved the helpful owner who went above and beyond to accommodate us when our plans changed. The location was great, close to town and the netball courts. The room was clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and fast WiFi. The staff made us feel at home and we enjoyed the wide range of TV channels. a fantastic stay!

The motel was conveniently located near the racecourse, which was a big plus for me as a racing enthusiast. The staff were friendly and accommodating, quickly changing our room when the initial one wasn't suitable. I also appreciated the shower soap dispenser in the bathroom, as it was a convenient alternative to sachets.

Although there were no major issues, the lighting in the room was not well-placed, making it difficult to have individual reading lights near the beds. Additionally, there weren't enough coffee sachets in the room for the number of guests it was meant to accommodate.

We had a wonderful stay at a pet-friendly motel with a great location. The small shopping center across the road was very convenient, and the dairy owner was extremely helpful. We also enjoyed delicious food from the fish and chip shop next door. we had a pleasant experience and would stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to Lake Mangamahoe for the U15 Netball Nationals tournament. It was also close enough to walk back and change for the evening performances. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel in New Plymouth. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. The location was perfect, as it was close to the Festival of Lights event that I was attending. Additionally, the staff was friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including a plug-in heater to keep me warm. Lastly, the breakfast provided was delicious and offered a great start to my day.

My experience at this hotel was great and there was nothing that I felt needed improvement.

The location of this motel is ideal, with plenty of attractions nearby. Not far from the beautiful coast, guests can take a leisurely stroll along the beach. For those who enjoy horse racing, the motel is conveniently located near the racecourse just out of town. Additionally, guests can easily access the Festival of Lights, a popular event in the local area.

The condition of the rooms could use some improvement, with a few minor issues like a faulty click, a mouldy shower, and non-functioning soap dispensers.

The owner was polite and welcoming. Free unlimited wi-fi. Huge and clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Big kitchen area for meal preparation. Helpful staff during a power cut. Great owner - Tony went above and beyond. Excellent location and easy to find.

Our stay at the motel was enjoyable and we would definitely stay again. The location was convenient with a small shopping center across the road and a helpful dairy worker who even provided newspapers for our puppy. The fish and chip shop next door served delicious food and the motel was pet-friendly.

The stay was a great choice for a city trip. the location was really convenient and the staff was very friendly. We appreciated the daily room service and the quality of the handwash, shower gel, and shampoo. we were pleasantly surprised to find green tea, salt, and pepper in the room!

We found that the single beds were unstable and not comfortable. the sound on the TV was too low and it was difficult to hear what was being said.
