The hotel offered spacious two-bedroom rooms with comfortable double beds, perfect for sharing with a friend or family member. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it was near Sky City and various eateries and bars, making it convenient for exploring the city. the hotel provided parking facilities, although at an extra cost, which allowed for easy access in and out of the hotel.

The room did not match the pictures shown on the website. the lack of art, cushions, and bed decorations made it feel more like a hostel room than a hotel.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the Civic theatre and the sky tower. It was also conveniently located near the bus terminal to the airport and the port terminal for cruise departures. The staff at this place were outstanding. They were extremely friendly and helpful, always acknowledging us in the passageway and wishing us a great day. The service provided was top-notch, from the room service to the dry cleaning. The room itself was well-appointed and had all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a washer and dryer. The dining options were fantastic, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area offering delicious meals and a buffet breakfast. the quality of service, comfort, and location made for a truly enjoyable stay.

I had a fantastic experience at City Hotel - Hobson St the general atmosphere of the hotel was great and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. the car parking in the basement was a huge plus, as it ensured we had a guaranteed spot for the duration of our stay. the room had excellent facilities, including a little kitchenette which was perfect for cooking and preparing our own meals. the customer service at the check-in desk was top-notch, with the staff being friendly and welcoming. we felt like royalty for a night and will definitely be returning.

My experience at City Hotel - Hobson St was fantastic. the room layout and cooking area were great, providing a comfortable and convenient stay. the staff was friendly and the location was ideal. the room itself was spacious and the kitchen, although lacking some utensils, was nice. the bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and cozy. the breakfast had a good variety of food, including options for those with allergies. it was a truly elegant and comfortable place to stay.

We loved staying at this place in the heart of the city. The location is perfect for exploring and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The service room service was outstanding and we appreciated the quick response from the staff for our dry cleaning requests. The housekeeping team kept the room spotless and we enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink and happy hour. The in-room amenities were great, especially the ironing facilities and tea and coffee making facilities. We also enjoyed having a dining table and access to a patio for fresh air.

Although the staff did not assist us with our suitcases at check-out, we would still recommend this hotel to our family and friends. The leisure facilities were top-notch, including the comfortable tv room Wi-fi access.

The service by Abraham at the restaurant was exceptional. The room service was fast and well presented. The butter chicken was the best I've ever had. The atmosphere was relaxing with beautiful art. The parking was convenient and the location felt like a holiday.

I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel in Auckland and had an amazing experience. The location of this place was perfect for me as it was close to bus stops and allowed easy access to various attractions such as the Sky Tower and the harbor. I loved that I could easily walk to Ponsonby and explore the vibrant neighborhood. It was also very convenient for getting in and out of the city, away from the loud construction noises. The staff at this venue were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.
