We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful gardens. The cottages were spacious and had everything we needed, including a comfortable four-poster bed. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. We also enjoyed taking walks with our dogs in the nearby area. it was a fantastic experience and we can't wait to come back!

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

My partner and I had a fantastic weekend getaway at Avalon. The location was perfect, close enough to shops and the town center but still peaceful and relaxing. The facilities, including the sauna and spa, were a great way to unwind. The beds were incredibly comfortable and even our baby slept soundly in the provided cot. The highlight for us was the tranquil ponds with friendly ducks, adding to the overall sense of tranquility. Willem, the owner, was friendly and helpful. We loved our time at Avalon and would give it a 10/10. We can't wait to come back.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The owners were incredibly welcoming and even allowed dogs. They upgraded us to a beautiful cottage with spacious rooms and comfortable furniture. The cottage had a lovely design with polished floors and a stunning deck overlooking a pond with a stream and bridge. The staff provided excellent service, ensuring we had heating in our room upon arrival. The location was idyllic, with easy access to kayaking on a stunning stream, feeding the animals, and exploring nearby attractions like Rainbow Falls and the Stone Store. The hotel also had great facilities, including a refreshing swimming pool, a spa, and a sauna. our stay here was relaxing and enjoyable, with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway.

My recent stay at Avalon Resort was an unexpectedly unique experience. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, each with its own distinct style. The host was extremely helpful and made sure that my comfort was a top priority. Despite being fully booked, it felt surprisingly quiet and serene. I especially enjoyed taking the provided kayaks out on the river, which added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay. There were a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay at Avalon Resort. I noticed that the wifi was a bit spotty at times, although the owners assured me that they are actively working on upgrading it.

Relaxing and peaceful setting. Friendly and helpful owner. Close proximity to beaches and historic sites. Excellent location with no road noise. Well-equipped and spacious accommodations. Great deck with garden/valley views. Upgraded to a superior room. Island-like atmosphere with rainforest surroundings, rivers, and ponds. Natural pool, spa, and sauna for relaxation. Comfortable room and good value for money. Convenient home base for exploring the far north. Hot tub as a nice bonus

Nothing that I didn't like.

The location of this accommodation is absolutely breathtaking. It is nestled amongst lush greenery and tranquil ponds, providing a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottages offer a sense of privacy and seclusion, with each one being thoughtfully designed and named. The kitchen facilities in the cottage are well-equipped, allowing guests to easily prepare their own meals. the nearby Rainbow Falls trail provides ample opportunity for exploration and adventure.
