Our hosts at Awatuna Sunset Lodge were exceptional. They greeted us with wine and canapes on the veranda, setting the tone for a wonderful experience. They provided us with valuable recommendations on the best attractions in the area. The accommodation was immaculate, and the newly renovated bed was heavenly. The full English breakfast and sensational coffees were delicious. It truly felt like a home away from home, except even better. I highly recommend this amazing lodge.

The ocean views were definitely the best aspect. Watching the sunset from the verandah was spectacular. the hosts were also very friendly and accommodating, providing a lovely spread of drinks and nibbles. the breakfast was also quite satisfying, with fresh ingredients and a good variety. the room was spacious and comfortable as well.

The location was quite remote and getting there was a bit of a hassle. It was also disappointing that there were no nearby restaurants or shops.

Additionally, guests had the opportunity to enjoy a spa bath while listening to the sound of the ocean.

The traffic noise in some rooms facing the front garden could be a potential issue for light sleepers.

The room was cozy and tidy, with a comfortable bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a hot cooked-to-order option that was just what we needed to start our day. The coffee was also sensational, a perfect pick-me-up. The location of the hotel was great, close to the beach, allowing us to enjoy the dramatic atmosphere of the wild coast.
