We had a fantastic time at the cabinz in Paihia. the cabin was clean and had great amenities like a comfortable bed, fan, and air conditioning. We loved sitting on the deck, enjoying the amazing view. Having our own washing line was convenient for drying our beachwear. the location was perfect, close to town and a fun pump track for the kids. the hosts were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Not easy to find

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Cabinz. The cabin was well equipped and had a spectacular view of the Bay of Islands from our deck. Ken, one of the hosts, provided us with great recommendations on places to see and dine. The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable and everything worked well. The provided beach towels and daily condiment refreshments were a nice touch. We highly recommend Bay Cabinz to others. we had a fantastic experience.

Not one thing.

Great value for the price we paid, excellent location just a few minutes away from all the sights and attractions. the cabin we stayed in was equipped with everything we needed for our short city break. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful terrace overlooking the bay, a perfect spot for a morning coffee.

The cabin we were given was a bit too cramped for our liking. We didn't need the small single bedroom, and as a result, the living area felt cramped and uncomfortable.

The location of this motel in the Bay of Islands is ideal, with the beach just a short walk away and all the amenities conveniently close by. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and a nice view of the harbor. The motel also had great facilities, such as a roof fan, washing and drying facilities, and a porch to enjoy the views.

There were a few minor issues with some of the facilities, such as a temperamental DVD player and a lack of frying pan in the kitchen.

Owner helpful with local restaurant recommendations. Umbrellas provided. Honeymooners received chocolates and bubbly. Cabin had great views. Kitchen facilities suited our needs. Ali was friendly and helpful. Pump bottles in shower, no plastic. Room clean.

The views from our cabine were breathtaking, and we loved sitting out on the balcony and taking it all in. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with plenty of windows to let in natural light. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the linens and towels were high quality. We also appreciated the small kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals. The staff were warm and friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel also had free wifi and laundry facilities, which were very convenient.

the location was absolutely stunning, nestled among Pohutakawa trees and built into the landscape. the chalets offered a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, away from any street noise or lights. the bed was comfortable, and I loved waking up to the beautiful view of the ocean from my private balcony. the host, Ken, was incredibly friendly and helpful, even going so far as to give my husband his own belt for a wedding we were attending. the motel was also conveniently located, with easy access to town. it was the perfect choice for a getaway.

Our stay at the motel was worth every penny. The room was clean and had a fresh feel to it, and the location couldn't have been better, with shops, restaurants, and the wharf all within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The hotel breakfast menu could use some improvement by offering more variety.

We had a great stay at a relaxing motel with a quiet location near the center. the BBQ grill was a nice touch and the kitchen in our room had everything we needed. Belinda's travel advice was invaluable in ensuring we saw all the sights and made the most of our time in New Zealand. the view from our cottage at the top of the hill was stunning and the parking space was sufficient.

The location of this place was absolutely incredible – nestled high in the hills, we had a jaw-dropping view from our balcony. The cabin was well-designed and spacious, giving us plenty of room to move around. The bed was super comfy and the small kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was top-notch and the abundance of windows gave us lots of natural light. On top of all that, the property was clean and tidy with plenty of parking. a mind-blowing experience!
