We had a very warm welcome from the owner here. The rooms were immaculate and had excellent facilities including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, dining table, patio. The location was perfect, with some great takeaways just down the road and the airport nearby which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and provided great service. we highly recommend this place to everyone.

The hosts were really attentive and made us feel at home in no time. the room was spacious, tidy and we loved the free Wi-Fi. the location was great as it was close to shops and tourist attractions.

The bed, unfortunately, was not very comfortable. It was quite old and springy.

I recently stayed at Bay Crest Motor Lodge in Nelson for a few nights during the Bay Dreams festival. Phil, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and understanding when we had to miss our first night due to unforeseen circumstances. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The motel is conveniently located near the airport but we didn't experience any noise disturbance. Phil recommended a great restaurant and provided helpful travel tips for our trip to Abel Tasman National Park. a great stay and I will definitely choose this lodge again.

the owner/manager was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. He took the time to understand our interests and provided excellent recommendations for things to do and places to explore in the area. Thanks to his guidance, we made the most of our short stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time. the warm welcome at reception by Phil was also a highlight. He shared valuable local knowledge and suggested great restaurants and cafes for us to try. the hosts truly made us feel at home and the level of cleanliness in our unit was impressive. We appreciated the extra touches like the lovely soap, hand cream, and daily replenishment of Macintosh lollies. a highly recommended motor lodge that we would happily return to.
