I had an amazing stay at Beachfront Hotel. The first night, I was upgraded to a Seaview room and it was incredibly comfortable. I could see the beautiful ocean right from my window, especially during the sunset. The location of the hotel was also very convenient.

It was located in the Driftwood section, separate from the main building, and felt more like a backpackers hostel than a hotel. The room was cramped and overlooked a car park used by tourists in camper vans.

Great location with easy access to the beach and nearby shops. the restaurant on-site was lovely, with friendly staff and delicious food. We enjoyed the convenience of having a restaurant right at the hotel. the staff were also accommodating and made our stay comfortable.

We booked the cheapest room, which was okay for our needs but nothing outstanding. the coffee provided was limited to only one cup in the morning.

Our stay at the Beachfront Hotel was fantastic! We got amazing value for our money with spacious, modern, and comfortable rooms. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants and a supermarket. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Great ocean view from the small room, making it feel more spacious. Convenient location for exploring town and dining. Pleasant country drive to Hokitika Gorge. Comfy bed, helpful receptionist, and clean facilities. Hotel offers reasonably priced Miners Breakfast and free wifi.

The hotel is in a great location close to many restaurants and right next to a pathway. It's also convenient to get around town and go to the beach since it's situated at the centre of the town. The rooms are comfortable with good facilities such as a spa bath and a balcony to watch a beautiful sunset. Additionally, the breakfast is of good value.

The hotel needs to improve its communication with room service to prevent any inconvenience to the guests.

Accessible parking, costumer-only access, ocean view, good food, helpful staff, walking distance to town amenities.

Didn't dislike anything about property.

The room was stylish and comfortable, with heated floors, spa and heated towel rack. The location was great being close to the beach, cafes, and supermarkets. We had a good time despite the minor inconvenience of the room being detached from the main building. I recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel here! The location is perfect as it’s near the town centre and the beach. The view from my room was astonishing, even better with the balcony! The staff really went above and beyond: I appreciated the room service, the manager taking the time to listen to feedback, and the happy hour was the cherry on top! The room had everything I needed from an ironing board to a flat-screen TV.

Highly recommend this venue to everyone - it’s great!

Great view of the ocean from rooms. Late arrival friendly restaurant with accommodating staff. Excellent dinner service by Sydney the waitress who was knowledgeable about dietary requirements. Good $15 lunch specials. Convenient overnight option near the beach.

We had a wonderful stay at Beachfront Hotel in Hokitika. We were lucky to be upgraded to an oceanview room, which was spacious and had a great layout. The proximity to the beach was a definite bonus. The king size bed was comfortable, and having a single bed in the room gave us extra space for our belongings. The long bench for our suitcases was very helpful. The bathroom with heated tiles and a lighted mirror was a nice touch. The shower worked well, and we had hot water right away. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the view of the beach made it even more enjoyable. The complimentary on-site parking was convenient, and we appreciated being able to walk to the shops and restaurants nearby.

Spent Easter at a hotel near the beach. Enjoyed the fact that it was close to the sea and could hear the waves crashing at night. the staff were friendly and gave us complimentary chocolates in our room, which was a nice touch. the coffee in the room was good quality.

It wasn't all good. the bar next door was extremely noisy, and we could barely sleep due to the loud music and rowdy customers.
