i had a fabulous stay at bella vista! the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and so friendly. my room was clean, with great amenities, and a fantastic shower. the location was convenient, just a short walk from the city center. overall, a perfect and affordable motel experience.

Convenient location and reasonable value

We loved the convenience of Bella Vista's location, making it easy for us to explore the city and visit attractions like the Botanic Gardens and Museum. Despite the Red Zone closure, we still managed to reach our destinations within minutes. The bus tour into the Red Zone was a highlight, giving us a unique perspective on the city's damage. Dinner at the nearby Speight's Ale House was fantastic and reasonably priced. The motel room itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. We even enjoyed a lovely BBQ in their designated area. Bella Vista offered great value for money and a convenient base for our Christchurch adventure.

The service at Bella Vista was exceptional, with the manager being extremely accommodating and swapping our rooms to a more suitable location for my elderly mother. The owners were also kind and provided us with milk and free internet during our stay. The central location and fully equipped apartments were a plus.
