We recently stayed at a lodge in Whangarei and had a great experience. the host was accommodating and pleasant, offering us an upsized room with a late check-out on arrival. the unit was clean and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and even a neat little spa bath that the kids loved. the location was fabulous, making it easy for us to get into town. We also appreciated the great parking, which was perfect for us and our grandchild.

The location of the hotel was great, conveniently situated on State Highway One making it easy to travel both north and south. The rooms were clean and tidy, which was a plus. Additionally, having access to Sky TV in the room was a nice way to relax at night.

One issue was the lack of a sink to wash up after making a cup of tea. Having to use the bathroom and fill a jug to wash up was a bit inconvenient.

Great facilities, including a queen bed, TV in bedroom and lounge, and a spa bath shower. Good location near CBD with on-site parking. Clean and well-appointed room.

Spent my Easter break at a lovely motel with my family. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast and the Easter egg surprise in the room. the motel was in a great location, close to several restaurants and shops. Also easy to find and park our car. the staff was friendly and welcoming, made us feel at home.

At night, the room next to us had a loud party with music and shouting. It was hard to sleep with all the noise, and we had to complain a few times to get the situation under control.

The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and a nice big TV for entertainment. The motel is also nicely decorated and has good amenities, ensuring a pleasant stay.

There were a few mishaps during my stay that could have been improved upon. The cracks in the wall above the spa bath were quite off-putting and the presence of a surprise pubic hair on the toilet seat was not ideal.

We recently stayed at Bk'S Pohutukawa Lodge and were amazed by the spaciousness and quality of our room. The king-sized bed, comfortable seating area, and fully equipped kitchen made us feel like we were staying in a luxurious apartment. The location of the lodge was also ideal, with easy access to shops and restaurants in the area. Despite being on a busy road, we didn't experience any disturbances from noise. it was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting Northland.

our honeymoon stay at the lodge was everything we hoped for and more. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and spacious, and the location was convenient for our wedding reception and exploring the town basin. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money and overall cleanliness.
