The surroundings were beautiful and the staff were accommodating. The continental breakfast had fantastic views. Tranquil gardens overlooked the lake. The spa had a private view. There were lots of DVDs available for movie nights.

Stayed in a lakefront room with an amazing view. the staff is extremely friendly and gives good recommendations for places to eat and go. the breakfast and dinner were excellent with a lot of options to choose from. Location was convenient in terms of transportation. the room was gorgeous, and the service was top-notch.

The room was lacking USB ports, which made charging multiple devices difficult. the temperature in the room was a bit hard to keep consistent.

My partner and I had a wonderful anniversary stay at this charming, boutique hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. Being located slightly away from the town, the smell of sulphur was minimal. the facilities were immaculate and the food, especially the breakfast, was amazing. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for a longer stay.

The Black Swan exceeded our expectations! Excellent location with stunning views of the Lake Rotorua. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring delicious homemade treats. The room and gardens were excellent, and the hotel served as a perfect base for exploring the thermal areas. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return!

We stayed at the Black Swan Lakeside Boutique Hotel and were blown away by the stunning location and impeccable facilities. The peaceful atmosphere allowed for a relaxing getaway, and the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. We only wish we had booked a longer stay. highly recommended!
