We recently stayed at the Family Fun Land Resort with our kids and had a blast! the spacious rooms easily fit our large family, offering breathtaking views of the beach. the staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay truly memorable.

My wife says that the motel could benefit from adding a designated kids' play area for families with children.

The grilled dishes were off, the, charts amazing, like a symphony of flavors on my taste buds. Plus, the local cafe recommendations from the owner were spot, on and had me sipping the best brews in town. the friendly staff added that extra sprinkle of hospitality magic to our dining experiences.

While the design was a bit tired, the bedding was dreamy and the towels fluffy. Maybe a touch of milk and toiletries would've been the cherry on top.

Value for money was great - clean and comfortable room with beautiful sea view. The location right on the waterfront was lovely, perfect for watching the sunset. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The breakfast menu could be improved.

The motel's location was a win! Waking up to those sunrise views was like a dream. the accommodation was basic, but comfy. I laughed as we tried to figure out the TV remote—it was smarter than us. Caught a glimpse of a cleaner dancing while tidying up. the balcony was my spot, watching boats drift by. We missed the pool but made up for it with beach strolls. Will return for sure, might even bring my noisy Kiwi pals next time!

The two features of the provided database that I loved were the fantastical angled rooms and the amazing views of Bucklands Beach. the rooms, though small, were perfectly fine for one person and gave a unique and interesting feel for two. During the day, the natural light streaming in through the windows created a cozy and calming atmosphere.

The only minor negative feature I found was that the room was a bit on the smaller side. It was a tight fit for two people, especially when trying to move around or unpack suitcases.

The sea view rooms were just magical - waking up to the sight of boats passing by and the peaceful Bucklands Beach was so dreamy. the kitchenette was handy too for quick meals.

Bathroom was a bit cramped, but still cozy for a quick stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the motel, enjoying the beautiful sea view from our room. The location was lovely, with plenty of things to see and do nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the small bathroom and noise from above, overall, we had a great experience. The views, comfortable beds, and fluffy towels made up for any minor inconveniences. We would recommend this motel to others looking for a pleasant stay in the area.

The hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices. Their attention to detail is evident in the clean rooms and well-equipped kitchen that provides all the necessary amenities. Located right on the water, the hotel offers excellent views of the surroundings, making it the ideal spot for a beach getaway or catching the Half Moon Bay ferry to Waiheke. Additionally, the staff provides friendly service and the breakfast options are delicious.

Nothing to complain about, it was all great!

We recently enjoyed a romantic escape with stunning views of the beach right from our room. the queen-sized bed was so comfortable and perfect to snuggle up on with my partner. It was great to have everything we needed right in the room, from utensils to cooking appliances, making it easy to prepare breakfast in bed. the location was amazing as we were able to easily walk to nearby bars and restaurants.

The room we stayed in was relatively small, and the lack of privacy was concerning as there were no net curtains available.

We stayed at Bucklands Beach Motel for 6 nights and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect, with nearby restaurants, a bistro-bar, coffee shops, and a general store. The ferry services to Auckland Downtown were regular and punctual. Our chalet was cozy, spacious, and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. Andy and his team were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The entire Bucklands Beach area was exclusive, beautifully maintained, and clean. We will definitely be returning.
