the bed was super comfy, blankets lovely. the spa bath was a nice touch. location was perfect for lakeside walks and day trips to thermal attractions. friendly staff made our wedding day special with early key access. highly recommend this classic kiwi motel!

The location of the hotel was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds and well-maintained facilities. The staff at the reception were friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We also enjoyed the convenience of the self-catering facilities, allowing us to prepare meals in our own time. our stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience.

The parking space was quite limited, which made it a bit of a challenge to find a spot for our car.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stunning lake views and comfortable stay at the lodge. the spacious room with a well-equipped kitchenette, comfortable bed, and lovely hosts made my experience memorable. the big bath in the room was a nice touch, offering relaxation after a day of exploring Taupo. the lack of undercover shade on the patio and the restricted use of the spa after 10pm were minor inconveniences.

We were pleasantly surprised by the modern and clean Studio room at Clearwater Motor Lodge. The views of the lake and mountains from the room were breathtaking. The well-appointed kitchenette and separate toilet in the bathroom were a nice touch. We also enjoyed the thermal pool and the convenience of thermal outlets into the lake. The owners were friendly and made our stay enjoyable.

We had a wonderful trip to the city and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the view of the lake was simply amazing, and it made our stay even more pleasant. We found everything clean and well-maintained. the hotel was conveniently located near key tourist attractions that were worth visiting. we appreciated the friendly service provided by the staff, who were always helpful and accommodating. the cozy ambiance of the hotel was one of the best features that we enjoyed, and it definitely made us feel at home away from home.

The hotel lacked the necessary privacy that we had expected, and this affected our stay in a significant way. Unfortunately, the location of the hotel made it easy for people to see inside our room through the window.

The lakefront views were stunning, with a small walking path right in front of the motel. the "partial view" rooms also had lovely views. Breakfast in the room was tasty and well-presented, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The busy public walkway right in front of the rooms made it feel less relaxing and private. the lack of privacy between rooms for sitting outside was a downside.
