The Colonial On Tay in Invercargill was excellent - comfortable bed, clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient location near shops. The unit was spacious and had all the comforts of a home, with ample storage space and laundry facilities. The owner Denise was friendly and helpful, providing great tips for exploring Invercargill. The peaceful and quiet atmosphere, despite being fully booked, was a pleasant surprise. Hassle-free and generous parking space added to the positive experience.

The motel we stayed at had a quiet location and the linen and towels were remarkably clean. the selection of brochures on nearby locations was practical, and we enjoyed having access to free Wi-Fi.

On the other hand, the heating in the room was a bit of a letdown, making us feel uncomfortable and cold. the inability to control the heat thermostat for the room was a downside.

Our stay at Colonial On Tay was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The motel had all the amenities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchenette with a kettle, microwave, and fridge. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, and we enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee provided. The motel was also conveniently located near the CBD and Queen's Park, making it easy to explore the area. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Colonial On Tay.

This place was the perfect base for exploring the area. We loved how close it was to the town center and the convenience of being on state highway one. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a cozy and warm atmosphere. The manager was extremely helpful, going out of their way to reprogram the television and provide us with extra vouchers for free Wifi. We also enjoyed dining at the nearby super restaurant, which served delicious meals. a great stay!

The lighting in the room was a bit dull, making it difficult to read maps at times.
