I recently stayed at a charming cottage located very close to the town centre. The location was perfect, as it was just a short walk to the restaurants and supermarkets. The cottage had a lovely private outdoor seating area, where I could relax and enjoy the fresh air. Inside, the room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Additionally, there were great facilities such as a pool and a barbecue area in a common area of the complex.

The only drawback was the road to the hotel, which had some hairpin turns and no guardrails.

We had a fantastic time at this hidden gem! The cottages were just a short distance from downtown Coromandel, making it convenient for our group. The property was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Our cottage comfortably accommodated our family of five, with an extra bed available for a sixth person. The updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise, and we appreciated the complimentary laundry facilities and pool. a great find!

We absolutely loved staying at this place! The location was fantastic, nestled in a beautiful grassy area with a family of resident ducks. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who were always willing to help. The room amenities were impressive, with everything we needed including ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, a balcony, sitting area, dressing area. We also loved the outdoor patio where we could relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We really loved the charming miner's cottage with its clean and tidy updates. The kitchen had everything we needed for our family of four. The outdoor area was beautifully decorated and spacious. The staff were friendly and gave great tips on local places to eat.

loved staying here, better than expected. Clean rooms, spacious, peaceful, and the hosts were lovely. Kids enjoyed the pool and playground. Quaint and cute, reminded me of my childhood. Close to town and attractions like the 'Driving Creek Railway'.

The free breakfast was a nice touch and the Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream Netflix. The location was perfect for exploring the area and there was plenty of parking available. It was also great to have a kitchenette so we could prepare our own meals.

Our Xmas stay was not the best. The room was extremely musty and smelled old, which made it difficult to sleep at night.

As longer term business travelers, we were impressed with the beautifully clean and well-equipped kitchen in our cottage. The comfortable bed and provided tea, coffee, and milk were much appreciated. The salt water pool was a great way to cool down after a long drive. The cottages themselves were private and picturesque. The proprietor was extremely helpful, even reserving places for us on the Driving Creek railway, which would have been difficult without their assistance. We highly recommend this hotel for its excellent facilities and helpful staff.

Felt more than at home, no reason to complain.
