We had a fantastic stay at a quaint B&B in Ngongotaha. The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities was outstanding. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful in giving us all the information we needed to make the most of our short stay. The hotel's location was fortunate, with beautiful views of the garden and easy access to nearby activities.

I recently stayed at Doolans Country Retreat B&B for a few nights while exploring the North Island. Christine, the host, was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations for activities in the area. The en-suite bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the beautiful gardens that Christine tends to herself. The location of the B&B was ideal, just 15 minutes from town, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this charming retreat.

During our Easter getaway, we enjoyed the stunning views of the surrounding countryside and lake. the location was perfect, away from the sulphur smells that can sometimes be found in the area. the unique architecture of the property added a touch of charm and coziness to the atmosphere. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the decoration with original paintings added a nice touch.

We were disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in our room. the bathroom had not been properly cleaned and the towels provided were old and worn out.

We had an amazing stay at this cozy retreat. The value for money was excellent, and the room was comfortable and inviting. The location was fantastic with stunning views of the lake, and the staff treated us like family, making us feel truly welcome.

The only breakfast option that could be improved is the coffee. It could be stronger to match the overall excellence of the retreat.

During our Christmas stay, we absolutely loved the stunning views of the countryside and the warm hospitality of the hosts. the delicious breakfasts were a great start to each day, and we appreciated the comfortable seating areas where we could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. the location was perfect for exploring the North Island, with easy access to Rotorua and day trips to the Bay of Plenty.

The only downside was that the room didn't have a fan or mosquito net, which made it uncomfortable during the hot nights. However, the owners were aware of the issue and mentioned that they were working on a solution.

Owner treated us like family, gave helpful hints for sightseeing and even made vegetarian breakfast. Tranquil location, interesting collections, and quality accommodation. Genuine New Zealand style breakfast exceeded expectations. Lovely morning breakfasts, amazing location, clean facilities, and lit fireplace. Home-like atmosphere with peace and quiet, surrounded by beautiful vistas.

The location and views were outstanding, and the grounds were beautiful. Christine, our host, was incredibly helpful and gave us great local suggestions. She even booked a dinner for us and provided alternative routes and hidden treks for our next day's adventure. The accommodations were stylish, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was the best we had in New Zealand. We felt like we were coming home with the added bonus of stunning views. Louise and Mark went above and beyond for us with their warm hospitality and helpful advice. one of our best stays in New Zealand!
