I had a fantastic stay at this little beachside gem. The value for money was excellent and the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was absolutely stunning, right by the beach, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The only thing that could make the morning meal better would be to have a wider variety of options.

Had a great Xmas stay at this hotel! Loved the spacious and comfortable rooms, and the awesome backyard with hammocks and a big table for everyone to gather. The location was perfect, right across the road from the beach. , the well-equipped kitchen was a big advantage for cooking our own meals.

The lack of soundproofing between the downstairs lounge and our bedroom, which was directly above it. It got quite noisy and made it difficult to sleep.

We loved the charming Victorian villa right on the beach. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed. The shared kitchen was clean and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. The beachfront location was perfect, and we enjoyed being able to rent surfboards and wetsuits from the accommodation. The outside area with hammocks and BBQ facilities was a great place to relax.

We felt completely relaxed during our stay, with no complaints whatsoever.

I recently had an amazing stay at this hostel in a beautiful location. The stunning sea view from my room was absolutely incredible. The beds were extremely comfortable and the facilities were top-notch. The hostel had a great kitchen and plenty of bathrooms to choose from. The outdoor seating areas were fantastic, and I loved being able to wash off the sand in the outdoor shower. The added bonus of being able to slow-charge my electric vehicle in the owner's garage was a huge plus. The host, Anna, was fantastic to communicate with and very accommodating. one of the best places I've stayed in New Zealand!

The location of this accommodation is fantastic, with a beautiful view of the beach right across the street. The atmosphere amongst the other travelers is great, creating a friendly and welcoming environment. The furnishings and amenities provided are first class, making it feel like a home away from home.

It is worth noting that the room security could be improved, as any key can open any room, which may raise concerns about safety and privacy.

We had an incredible stay at this charming lodge. The property exudes beauty, with its wooden floors and lovely rooms. The facilities were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the lush surroundings and the sound of the sea. Anna and Blaine, the owners, were incredibly welcoming and helped us arrange surfing lessons with the amazing Leon. The atmosphere was relaxed and safe, and we loved meeting different people during our time there. The lodge was well-equipped, tidy, and the bed was super comfy. it was a truly delightful experience.

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at this cozy lodge by the beach. the tasteful renovations made the accommodation comfortable and the lush grounds with hammocks were perfect for ultimate relaxation. the shared cooking space and dining areas provided the opportunity to meet other like-minded guests. the owners were incredibly helpful and informative, and the provided bananas from their own tree were a delightful treat. We also enjoyed taking advantage of the surfing lessons and equipment available. it was a great place for a reasonably priced holiday.

That the noise from the hallways and other rooms could be a bit disruptive at times. the bed was a bit too soft for our liking.

We recently stayed at a friendly hostel right on the beachfront. the rooms were fantastic and instantly felt like home. the whole place was impeccably clean, and we could see why people often extended their stays here. the hostel provided super cheap hire of surfboards, wetsuits, and sandboards, which was a great plus. the location was fantastic, and the hosts were warm and helpful, making our stay even better. the house had a beautiful front yard with a hammock, ping pong table, and beach chairs, and a cool backyard with a BBQ and dining area. the lounge area was comfortable, with games and books available. the kitchen was clean and well-equipped, and the bathroom facilities were a pleasure to use. the hostel also had eco-friendly practices like waste categorization, solar-heated hot water, and rainwater collection. we had a wonderful experience at the hostel and would definitely stay again.
