I absolutely loved the Kiwiana themed decorations throughout the motel. It gave it a cozy and nostalgic feeling, reminding me of the good old days. The general areas of the motel were well-kept and spacious, perfect for senior people like myself to move around comfortably. The accessibility of the hotel was fantastic, with ramps to enter the building and easy access to facilities. It made my stay hassle-free and enjoyable.

It would have been even better if the children working there were more attentive to the needs of us senior guests. A little more assistance and promptness in responding to inquiries would have made the vacation even more pleasant.

We had a fantastic stay at a motel in Rotorua. The hosts were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our kids loved the heated swimming pool and hot mineral pool, as well as the fact that there was Netflix available. The location was quiet but still conveniently close to town. We really enjoyed our time at Fernleaf Motel and will definitely be returning.

Almost perfect, but the hotel's location down an unattractive alleyway was a slight downside.
